The candidate is a Java developer who has been programming in Java for about 5 years. Due to the nature of his work in his last position, he considers himself more of a mediator in Java. Apart from backend development in Java, he also does frontend programming using modern technologies. He only has hands-on experience with Angular, but in his spare time he is improving his skills in React and Vue. He would welcome some modern frontend framework on his next project as well. He wants to specialize in web development. Due to the nature of his work and development experience from his previous position, client expectations will be a factor when deciding on his next project. He does not dare to take on senior positions. He has experience with agile methodologies, working in Scrum. Has no preference in terms of project length, will consider both short and long term projects. He is very attracted to frontend development, wants to be exposed to Angular/React/Vue frameworks and is interested in cloud as he sees a future there. He hasn't worked as a team leader yet and is not interested in such a position in the near future, he wants to focus purely on development. He is fluent in both English and German and has no problem communicating in any of these languages. Of his preferred sectors of work, he prefers the fintech sector the least, but he is aware that they have the most projects, so he does not completely rule out this sphere, it depends on what kind of project it is.

02/2015 - present: Application Engineer - Responsible for developing and updating reporting tools, migrating COBOL code into Java, and configuring JCLs. Developed RESTful web services using Java, Spring, Hibernate, and AngularJS. Created a test tool for verification of calculations and writing them to Excel documents. Maintained and added new features to an internal data directory. Deployed applications using Bamboo, Jenkins, Nexus, and SonarQube. Assisted in cloud migration of applications. Created frontend websites using web technologies. Provided constant support and bug fixes for internal web applications. Learned React to create a KPI reporting dashboard. Also learned PowerCenter, UC4, and VueJS in free time.

07/2014 - 11/2014: Web Developer - Developed websites using PHP, HTML, CSS, LESS, JS, CouchDB, and Nette PHP framework.

Bachelor Thesis: Developed a schematic/circuit board editor (CAD) in Java.

Master's Thesis: Analyzed and developed a web portal for visual representation of state contracts and agreements of the Slovak Republic and its winners using the graphical database Neo4j. Created frontend visualization for the portal.

Other projects include smaller websites and applications using HTML, JS, CSS, XML, PHP, and Java; a stopwatch with GUI (MVC) and classification of packages in Java; a balloon game and program for displaying mathematical functions in Java; a five in line game and chat program in C#; and Sudoku and crossword puzzles in LaTeX.
