Javascript Developer & React Developer

The candidate is an experienced frontend developer who has been programming various mobile apps in React Native since 2014, and recently started programming frontend in React. On his penultimate project he did the development of a web application for the Smartsupp chat support platform, participating in the entire development process from brainstorming to design, implementation, testing and final deployment. Other projects include - www.snaptaskapp.com - where he built a platform on a backend API written in Ruby on Rails and a mobile app written using React-Native. Tinder - the world's most popular app for meeting new people with over 50 million monthly activated users. Built a comprehensive, interactive mobile marketing landing page for new markets on how to use the Tinder app for dating in countries outside the U.S. The designs were complex with many css animations and videos that needed to scale. Through a partnership with travel agency Kiwi, he created an app that allows guests to send a virtual key if they chose to stay in their apartment. This key allows guests to unlock the door using their mobile phone. It is a PWA (progressive web app) with offline capabilities created using React, Apollo client and GraphQL on the backend. He also has experience with other technologies like - Jest, Webpack, Swift, Objective-C, Java, Kotlin, Smart TV/OTT and Web design. He can communicate in English language without any problems and has used it on a daily basis (he even has dual citizenship - Czech Republic - USA). He almost always works agile in his work - Scrum, Kanban, Jira, Confluence. He also provides interactive lessons and modern web development.

03/2017 – current: Frontend Developer

• Developed a Progressive Web App (PWA) called Beep & Sleep in partnership with Kiwi.com, allowing guests to unlock their room doors using a virtual key sent to their phones. Built with React, Apollo Client, and GraphQL.
• Released a new version of Minted's card builder web app using React, TypeScript, and GraphQL. Worked in San Francisco for a month to assist the frontend team.
• Created a complex marketing landing page for Tinder's international markets, focusing on internationalization and featuring CSS animations and videos.
• Led a team of 4 developers to release The People Walker, a unique app for finding walking partners, using React Native.
• Provided expert advice on React and helped solve performance issues for Global Traffic Technologies.
• Worked as a full-stack developer for StackShare, building new designs for their website using Ruby on Rails and React.
• Developed Curatr, a social network app written in React, but eventually discontinued due to financial reasons.
• Presented technical talks, taught non-technical individuals about software development, and participated in sales calls as a senior developer at STRV.

03/2016 – 03/2017: Web Developer

• Built a web application for the Smartsupp chat support platform using React.js and Redux.
• Developed features such as team management, support agent customization, payment integration, and multilingual support.

• Created the platform for Snaptaskapp, including a backend API in Ruby on Rails and mobile applications using React Native.
