Javascript Developer & Node.js Developer

The candidate is a junior Node.js developer with 1 year of commercial experience. During school he worked for more than 2,5 years on part-time basis. On his current project he mainly uses Node.js, Typescript, Docker, Couchbase. Sometimes he also uses Angular at work, but front-end development doesn't appeal to him. In his work he solves automatic transaction processing, ioby what they look at folders and then process automatically. English is not a problem for him. He hasn't had the opportunity to lead his own team yet. He enjoys the field he is currently working in, which is finance. At work he has also come into contact with agile methodologies especially with Scrum at daily stand-ups, but it is not required that everyone speaks at these.

Technologies.

Software Engineer (October 2020 - currently): Backend Node.js developer working with JavaScript/TypeScript, Docker, Couchbase, RabbitMQ, and occasionally AngularJS. Responsible for processing bank transactions and positions from various formats.

Programmer (September 2017 - May 2020): Implemented financial software for Slovak and Czech markets, primarily through backend development using Node.js (JavaScript), PostgreSQL, CouchDB, and Linux. Also involved in frontend development using Angular. Worked in a distributed team.

Mobile Application Developer (June 2017 - July 2017): Developed a cross-platform mobile application for collecting feedback from professor's lectures using Ionic, Angular 4, Express, Node.js, and MongoDB. Prepared app distribution via Google Play and App Store. Worked in a distributed team.

Java Junior Programmer (June 2016 - April 2017): Developed web applications using Java and Groovy in the Grails framework. Implemented automated tests using Spock and Geb. Also involved in frontend development using Angular2, HTML5, CSS3, Sass, TypeScript, and JavaScript. Worked in a distributed team.

Education: Completed informatics studies at the Faculty of Informatics and Information Technologies from 2014 to 2020. Also attended Gymnázium Hubeného 23 from 2006 to 2014. Graduated with honors.

Language Skills: Proficient in Slovak (C2), advanced in English (C1), and intermediate in German (B1).
