Automation Tester & Manual Tester

The candidate is an experienced tester with 6+ years of commercial experience. He has experience with both manual and automated testing, but has no preference in the latter. He has experience with tools like HP ALM and HPQC. He has experience in requirements analysis/user stories, test data creation, testcas creation, actual test execution manually/automated, defect management, retesting, integration testing, regression testing, API Testing, functional testing, web services testing. He has worked in agile, specifically most of his experience is with Scrum. He holds ISTQB certification. In the future, he would like to incline towards Test Management. Among foreign languages, he speaks English at a communicative level, German at B1 level but more at the level of reading and understanding technical documentation.

10/2019 – 06/2020: Software Tester - Conducted API testing, tested interfaces and web-services, created manual and automated test cases, executed test cases, documented defects, reviewed and analyzed business requirements and design documents. Used tools such as Postman, Swagger, Python, REST API, Git, Jira, Confluence, DBeaver, and Soap UI.

03/2018 – 08/2019: Software Tester / Test Analyst - Reviewed and analyzed business requirements and design documents, created manual test cases, executed test cases, documented defects, performed regression tests, communicated with off-shore developers, managed defects and communicated with developers and infrastructure engineers, supported test execution of other test stages, reported on test progress to test manager. Used tools such as Jira, Confluence, TestRail, Xray, and Sugar CRM.

04/2016 – 02/2018: Software Tester - Set up test framework, reviewed and analyzed business requirements and functional design, created and executed automated test cases, reported on test progress and escalated issues, documented defects and performed re-tests, validated results through SQL database queries, performed smoke tests and regression tests.
