Overview
Short Summary
The candidate is a system/application administrator who has been in this field for over 20 years in commercial practice. On his last project he was mainly involved in migrating systems to a new environment (Windows, Linux, Cloud services, Hyper-V) and building a cloud infrastructure monitoring solution, where he built the entire system from scratch - from the design of the solution, through the implementation of templates and triggers to the subsequent system administration and control. Outside of work, he is learning to code and script in Python, has already taken some courses and is trying it out at home (he has his own 9th generation servers). He is also used to a corporate environment where an assignment comes in and needs to be worked out from scratch, just based on the handouts. He can communicate in English as well as German at a professional level. He has actively used agile methodologies such as Scrum and Kanban in his work, but also has experience with Waterfall. He has also worked as a Team Leader where he led a small team of administrators/analysts.
