He has also worked on projects involving certificate services, database data migration, weather calculation, terminal management systems, CRM/back office solutions, fintech logic, parking payment solutions, and improving stored procedures for MS SQL databases. He has previous experience working for Ericsson Nikola Tesla, where he worked on projects related to synchronization protocols, testing of hardware, and support for protocols and satellites. He has also worked as a freelancer, developing web pages, iOS applications, and quiz solutions.

Work Experience

  1. APK Sign Role/Responsibility: Developer Implemented a Spring Boot service for uploading APK files and sending them for static code analysis to a local MOBSF service. Handled analysis response and sent mail to APK signers. Used Linux scripts to sign APK files using a smart card. Technologies used: Spring Boot (Java, Kotlin), Postgres, MOBSF, Docker.

  2. Consolidation of Projects Role/Responsibility: Developer Made the project environment agnostic and set Gitflow foundations on repositories. Set up Jenkins pipeline builds. Technologies used: Jenkins pipeline, Git, Maven.

  3. Various Role/Responsibility: Developer Implemented communication between host systems (Sedamit and banks) and worked on PGP encryption for files exchanged between hosts. Implemented various Java implementations related to DB decoupling. Technologies used: Java, MS SQL, BouncyCastle.

  4. Decoupling DB Engine Role/Responsibility: Developer Dismantled one big DB with its engine into multiple DBs, each with its purpose. Replicated data between DBs and took care of table locking. Wrote Java tests to load test the new configuration and measure performance. Technologies used: MS SQL, Java, Apache JMeter.

      1. End of Day Reports Role/Responsibility: Developer Developed stored procedures that generate end of day reports with transaction information. Technologies used: MS SQL.
    • Current Certificate Service Role/Responsibility: Developer Developed a backend service that receives CSR (Certificate Signing Requests) from EFTPOS devices, interacts with HSM device, signs requests, and generates CRL (Certificate Revoked List) for SSL terminators. Interacted with other services. Technologies used: Spring Boot, Postgres, OpenSSL, BouncyCastle.
  5. DB Data Migration Role/Responsibility: Developer Developed ETL scripts for migrating data from one DB to another. Technologies used: MS SQL.

  6. WeatherX Role/Responsibility: Developer Developed a backend app for calculating weather pressure difference and notifying affected users. Implemented backend services that serve mobile apps and interact with 3rd party services. Technologies used: Spring/Boot, Kotlin, Postgres.

  7. TMS (Terminal Management System) Role/Responsibility: Developer Designed the architecture of the TMS system that remotely controls EFTPOS devices. Implemented backend logic for the TMS system. Technologies used: Spring/Boot, Postgres.

  8. CRM/Back Office Role/Responsibility: Developer Implemented a CRM/Back Office solution for customers. Technologies used: Java.

  9. Fintech Logic Role/Responsibility: Developer Implemented stored procedures that export daily reports with card transactions sent to hosts (banks). Technologies used: MS SQL.

  10. Zagreb Mobile Parking Payment Solution (ZGPark) Role/Responsibility: BE Developer Implemented backend logic for parking payment using cards or prepaid and communication with external systems. Technologies used: Java, REST, MS SQL.

  11. Improving Stored Procedures for MS SQL DB Role/Responsibility: Developer Improved stored procedures for MS SQL DB.
