Ruby Developer

Ruby on Rails developer with 2 years of experience. However, he has been working with Ruby for 3 years. He is currently working on database migration using SQL. Recently he was also developing music app using mostly Ruby on Rails, Vue.js. He has also experience with Bootstrap, Capybara and Rspec. He has experience with agile methodologies especially Scrum. He speaks fluently in English and Croatian, that is his mother tongue. He has some small experience with teaching junior colleagues. He is open to remote cooperation.

Feb 2022 - Present: Backend Developer at a web agency. Worked on projects such as Musicsupervisor, Wegetartists, Discovery 3.0, and Poplin. Learned technologies like Hotwire, Vue.js, and Tailwind.

Oct 2020 - May 2021: Backend Developer at a company specializing in proptech. Worked on a project for client Vergesense, developing a Rails + React app for their analytics platform. Overcame database design and complex business logic challenges. Improved SQL skills.

Mar 2019 - Mar 2020: Backend Developer at a web agency. Worked on a big project for a foreign client, a Facebook-like app with various features. Gained experience in reading other people's code and working within a team.

2016 - 2017: Freelancer for seriouswheels.com. Initially hired for Photoshop work, but responsibilities expanded to designing and coding the website using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript/jQuery.
