Work Experience
Projects: Developed a JavaFX application for grabbing information from hardware raid controllers. Used a customer GUI framework that defined a specific MVC pattern. Technologies used include Java 8, JavaFX, and Spring Boot.
IP DR Link: Implemented a call recording module controlled by events and information received over IP DR Link protocol. Connected IP DR Link modules installed on multiple servers, with two servers acting as master and slave. Certified the final version of the module at Alcatel certification office in Brest, France. Technologies used include Java 8 and JNA.
Recording Module: Integrated analog and digital call recording hardware boards from Synway into the customer system. Utilized a DLL file provided by the customer to process low-level data from Synway hardware for call recording. Technologies used include Java 8 and JNA.
IDDS UCIP: Developed a recording server implementing the IDDS UCIP protocol. Communicated with clients over a TCP connection. Technologies used include Java 8 and Netty.
Integration into ARZ: Implemented a service that delivers information about calls stored in the customer database to ARZ Geos servers. Formatted data to a specific JSON structure and sent it to a REST API service. Technologies used include Java 8, Netty, Spring, and JSON.
CMake Building Environment: Designed and implemented a C/C++ building environment independent of the operating system. Used CMake as a project configuration tool to support Windows and Linux. Refactored source code of customer libraries to remove Windows-specific dependencies. Technologies used include CMake, MinGW64, and Boost.
Audio/Video Recording: Created a new audio/video module that can record audio RTP streams to specific files. Implemented support for encoding audio streams to various codecs and added video recording capabilities using the FFmpeg library. Technologies used include C++11, FFmpeg, and other 3rd party libraries.
Voice Line Card: Worked on a 3-year project to develop software for a hardware voice line card that connects analog interfaces to a VoIP network. Implemented kernel drivers, application logic, and communication over serial interfaces. Technologies used include C/C++, VoIP, and embedded Linux.
Voice Line Card (Team Leading): Led a team in the implementation of a new version of the voice line card hardware using Java. Technologies used include Java 8, Netty, and VoIP.
Ring Tone Generator: Extended the firmware for the voice line card to support a ring tone generator device. Designed and implemented a communication protocol over a serial interface and added the necessary business logic. Technologies used include C/C++, embedded Linux, and toolchain cross-compilation.
Media Gateway: Developed telephone gateways to connect technologies like analog lines, E1, VoIP, and S0. Implemented a tool for designing call flows and IVR menus. Technologies used include C++98, Java, XML, FreeSWITCH, and Sangoma (analog/digital).
Back-End & Front-End: Worked on the web application of the company, extending the Java back-end, designing database tables and SQL queries, and implementing front-end views. Technologies used include Java 6/7, Spring, Hibernate, MS SQL, Tomcat, JSP, JavaScript, and jQuery.
Lead Organizer: Organized WordCamp Bratislava with around 150 attendees, handling venue, catering, sponsors, speakers, volunteers, and logistics.
