Short Summary
Mr. The candidate is currently leaving BSP Sizar, s.r.o. where he worked for almost 3 years as a Dev/Ops engineer and is looking around the job market. The reason for his departure is the closure of the project he worked on. This project was not successful as it could not be applied in the market and therefore there was no demand for it. Alfresco DMS project - system for document management: invoices for the accounting system. Invoices were coming into the system, were being processed and later archived. Here he learned to work well with Docker. As a developer, he deployed development on Linux. Other then Dev/Ops, he has experience with programming languages - Java, Angular Docker - he rates himself very positively, Kubernetes - he hasn't really used GIT - yes Microsoft Azure - is familiar with, but did not use actively AWS- EC2, feels comfortable with MySGL - has good experience Mainly interested in: design, maintenance and development
Work Experience
DevOps Engineer (Dec 2019 - Oct 2022): Developed modules for invoice processing and adapted tasks and workflows using BPMN. Improved Java wrapper for Solr and implemented integration of Keycloak with LDAP groups and users. Dockerized various components and created an importer for files from email attachments and samba drives. Also worked on camera control from Raspberry Pi and developed Gitbash scripts for Docker deployment.
Developer (May 2017 - Nov 2019): Developed a Java 8 FX client for batch processing and calculating author commissions for broadcast artwork. Used AMQP communication on a Java Spring server with Hibernate on MySQL. Conducted JUnit tests and utilized Maven as the build tool and Git as the source control. Developed payroll modules for American states and Canadian provinces. Implemented geocoding, tax localization, and spatial queries. Created editable PDF payroll forms and extended the Symmetry Tax Engine with Canadian tax tables. Developed web portals and projects for payroll websites using Java and Spring. Used Maven as the build tool and SVN as the source control.
DevOps Engineer (Jan 2016 - Apr 2017): Developed Spring Boot web services secured with two-way SSL. Worked on batch processing and SOAP services.
Education: Completed a bachelor's degree in mathematics, physics, and computer science from Comenius University in Bratislava. Also attended a technical high school specializing in electrical machines and devices.
Additional Information: Published source code for Alfresco on GitHub under the nickname "bikefresco." Involved in projects related to credit card registration, verification in the German credit register, and migration of IBM JBoss Java enterprise applications to Linux Spring Boot.
