Merger & Acquisition Consultant

The candidate has been involved in financial advisory and financial due diligence for 4 years. She leads a team in financial advisory. Her job is to prepare a request for cooperation and when the client accepts it, she delivers the documents needed to perform due diligence to them in a virtual dataroom and starts the due diligence process. Once done, she meets with the client, gives them information about the financial health of their company, tells them how and if the information found could jeopardize the planned transaction. He is also in charge of junior onboarding. Valuations - revaluations of the business, assets and liabilities - are also part of her job. She has excellent command of the English language and has no problem communicating in English. She also knows basic German. She is looking for a change because she wants to broaden her field of competence and get involved in transactional advisory.

1. Financial Advisory Services Lead Consultant (09/2022 - now): Responsible for conducting due diligence and valuation engagements for various companies in Slovakia and the Czech Republic. Performs sectoral analysis and searches for potential targets for M&A.
2. Financial Advisory Services Senior Consultant (01/2018 - 08/2022): Conducted financial due diligence and business valuation for various companies in Slovakia and the Czech Republic. Performed sectoral analysis and searched for potential targets for M&A. Conducted the revaluation of fixed assets for a mid-sized financial services provider and assisted the financial auditor in financial audits for various companies.
3. Business & IT Consultant (05/2015 - 07/2017): Worked on system integration projects for a large telco company in Slovakia. Responsible for business requirements gathering, test management, defect management, business readiness, competence transfer, and post go-live support planning. Worked as a business consultant for robotic process automation, conducted a BI architecture study for a large bank in Serbia and the Czech Republic, coordinated data center backup for a large insurance company, and served as a defect manager for the upgrade of a core banking system at an international IT center in the Czech Republic.
4. PA/Accounting Clerk/Audit Assistant (05/2009 - 08/2011, 09/2014 - 05/2015): Started as a part-time personal assistant and accounting support for a local accounting/audit company. Responsibilities included preparing and analyzing audit documentation, conducting data control in audited companies, and preparing annual auditor's reports.
