Java Developer

The candidate started his career as a software tester, but gradually learned to program in Java. Today he has been working with Java for over six years and has many successful projects under his belt. His main technologies are JAVA 8+, SpringBoot, PostgreSQL, - Docker, GIT, Jira, Maven and Gitlab. On the last project, he took over the task from the owner of the company, who was 90% code owner. For the first month he worked on refactoring the code to make it readable and standards compliant. The goal of the project was to rewrite data from spreadsheets into Java so that campaigns and tens-of-thousands of letters could be generated. Overall, the sector was acquisitions and agricultural land sales. Alongside his projects in his spare time, he used to program his smaller projects in React, but he says he is more junior at it. He's used to working in an agile way with Scrum standups, but on his last project he worked alone, so he divided up the bags as needed. During the projects, he had the opportunity to mentor juniors as well as assist students on internships. His English is at a professional level and he has been improving it by travelling abroad. He is open to the possibility of international teams.
