The candidate is an experienced Finance Director with over 8 years of experience in the industry. In his current position, his clients are small and medium sized companies for whom he does the entire due diligence process. This involves client enquiries, preparation of documents, due diligence itself, negotiation support, transactional documentation through to the deal itself . His clients are mainly companies in the healthcare, engineering, hospitality and also property development companies. He does due diligence for both buyer and seller clients. By managing the entire due diligence process he is responsible for the overall coordination and management of the process across all types of due diligence - whether it is legal due diligence in cooperation with external lawyers, tax due diligence in cooperation with tax professionals or technical due diligence in cooperation with experts in the field. If acquisition financing is required, they cover that as well. This includes communication with the bank or other financing entities, preparation of documents, presentations to the financing entity, negotiations up to the closing of the financing. Prior to the actual process, they prepare the valuation, which is important in M&A, whether for the buyer or the seller. He communicates regularly in English and has a C1 level, he also has a state certificate in German.
