DevOps Engineer

The candidate has been a DevOps Engineer for 4 years. In his previous positions he was QA Engineer. He is working on a current project for the Crypto sector on infrastructure in the AWS cloud. There is a lot of focus on security. He is working on data optimization, creation and maintenance using CI/CD pipelines in GitLab where he uses Ansible, Bash, Terraform. • Responsible for developing and maintaining AWS cloud infrastructure for a global algorithmic market maker. Creating and managing infrastructure as code using Ansible, Terraform, and Bash. Implementing CI/CD pipelines in Gitlab. Monitoring and alerting in Grafana using various tools. Focusing on user management and security.

January 2019 – May 2021: DevOps Engineer for platform team

• Involved in developing and maintaining on-prem and AWS cloud platform solutions. Utilizing infrastructure as code techniques with bash, python, yaml, and terraform. Automating VM configuration using Ansible and PXE kickstart profiles. Working with Kubernetes, Docker, Helm, Terraform, Ansible, and other tools.

April 2018 – December 2018: Fully automated QA Engineer for agile DevOps infrastructure team

• Preparing tests and test strategies for on-premise and cloud infrastructure in AWS. Creating CI/CD pipelines for tests and applications. Using agile software methods and Atlassian products for test and infrastructure management.

• Conducted automated and manual testing of web applications. Created tests for frontend and backend using JavaScript, ReadyAPI, and C#. Ensured overall quality and functionality of applications. Trained new testers for the team.

• Performed manual and automated backend testing using Java and SoapUI, and frontend testing with Selenium. Worked in an Agile environment using Atlassian JIRA for test case management.
