DevOps Engineer & Project Manager

The candidate is a Project Manager with more than 16 years of experience in the IT industry, 12 of them on managing positions. In his current company, he is leading the team responsible for preparing the software and delivery to a client, so he is negotiating with both teams in his company and clients. Generally, he has some programming knowledge, especially in C and C++, but he cannot review the code, so the Project Manager positions are more interesting to him as the Technical Lead. For Project management, in his current company are using Jira and Confluence. Currently, he is leading a team of 5-6 people, but he is able to work in both small and bigger teams. He is located In Zagreb and he is open to visiting the office occasionally, in the case of Osijek 2-3 times a month. He has no problem communicating in English. He is interested in long positions, as he does not want to switch companies every few months. He has a position currently, but he is open to something new. His notice period is 1 month.

2015 - CURRENT: Software Engineer, Project Manager - Responsible for analyzing requirement documentation, creating project proposals, and managing project teams. Also responsible for project planning, system design, quality assurance, and project documentation. In charge of project delivery, validation, and training, as well as project closing and handover processes.

2010 - 2015: Project and System Implementation Manager - Involved in analyzing requirement documentation, creating technical project documentation, and system implementation design. Responsible for managing system implementation, integration testing, and on-site acceptance tests. Also in charge of commissioning and training client personnel.

2006 - 2010: System Implementation Senior Engineer - Responsible for creating software specifications, configuring and testing system components, and implementing tunnel safety systems. Conducted integration testing and provided training to clients. Also part of the customer support and maintenance team.

1996 - 2005: Co-owner - Involved in the manufacturing of electrical equipment, planning, and company administration.

2020: Professional Scrum Master certification from Scrum.org.

2018: Completed Management of Projects Funded by EU course at Algebra.

2017: Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from the Project Management Institute.

Education: Bachelor's degree in Information and Communication Technologies from the University of Split. Mathematics Technician diploma from XV Gymnasium, Zagreb, Croatia.

Language Skills: Fluent in Croatian and English (C1 level).
