Cloud Engineer & DevOps Engineer

The candidate is an OpenStack Cloud engineer who has 7 years of experience and has also been working in Devops for the same amount of time. He also has 5 years of experience with Python. On his current project he was creating a billing solution. Later he did the integration to the ServiceNow central system. He is also responsible for implementing changes, managing the development of integration and billing and responding flexibly to new requirements. Some of his most used technologies include OpenStack, Kubernetes, Docker, Python, Django, PostgreSQL. He also has experience with Linux and Unix. On a new project he would like to work with Cloud platforms like AWS, Azure or GCP and also Python. They are working agilely in Scrum on the project. 2016-now: OpenStack cloud billing and integration architect/developer. Designed and developed a solution for billing cloud users based on resource consumption. Integrated the OpenStack cloud platform with Service Now by sending json billing and instance data. Implemented system improvements using git, docker, python, django, flask, postgresql, rest api, and json.

2013-2016: Third level senior UNIX administrator for OpenStack. Responsible for installation and maintenance of virtual and physical servers. Collaborated with international teams on implementing OpenStack cloud and IT solutions for customers.

2012-2013: SW Tool support engineer. Supported software development teams in multiple locations and was responsible for Linux servers and development of embedded software communication component.

2011: Web developer (C#). Took complete responsibility for a logistic web application for a German customer.
