Automation Tester

The candidate has been working as a QA Engineer for almost three years. He works on projects in C# and on his own in Python. He is currently testing both Android and iOS apps. He focuses on APIs on BE, automated tests (RestSharp, Appium, Selenium) and writes tests in C# on BE .Net. After a bit he is working with Python and Linux. The project resulted in an application that connects cars and courier companies. The courier can put a package in the trunk of the car, which the owner opens remotely. It works agilely in Scrum, having retrospectives. International projects also suit him as his English is of a good standard.

January 2020 - Present: QA web and mobile applications specialist. Responsibilities include participating in agile process and testing mobile applications within the agile team. Also responsible for writing, executing, and maintaining API tests using C# and RestSharp. Additional responsibilities include test case administration, maintenance documentation, guidance/support for web QA team, and occasional participation in buddy program. Completed projects include cooperation with ŠKODA AUTO a.s. for car trunk delivery service, participation in internal test automation bootcamp, ISTQB Foundation Level certification, and optimizing regression test scenarios.

2019: IT support technician. Responsibilities included data and user profiles backups, as well as SW installations. Also involved in documenting network solutions within the facility.

2017 - 2018: Operator.

2014 - 2016: Shift manager.

2013 - 2014: Retailer.

2010 - 2013: Court officer.

Completed high school with a school-leaving exam in 2007.

Achieved the following awards: ISTQB Foundation Level, In-Depth Software Testing Training, Master Software Testing, Agile Meets Design Thinking, Running Product Design Sprints, Managing an Agile Team, and Hypothesis-Driven Development.
