Java Developer

The candidate is an experienced Java developer with almost 9 years of experience. In his current position he works on the back-end of game development, i.e. on the authorization side for players. It's all Microservices. They deal with making it possible to send all user information. They are leveraging Vue.js from the management side so that the players can look at it. Started out as a PHP developer. Has experience with Openshift, MySQL, Spring, Hibernate, Maven, Rest, Thymeleaf. Communication in English is not a problem for him. Prefers smaller companies that have a less corporate environment.

12/08/2018 – 31/12/2019 Back End Developer: Developing web services in Java for the largest grocery e-shop in Czech and expanding it into Europe. Utilizing REST, OpenShift, Spring, QueryDSL, and Hibernate.

01/03/2018 – 06/2018 Software Developer: Involved in Java development, using vert.x, liferay, and OSGi.

01/11/2014 – 31/12/2017 Software Developer (Java): Developed eVisage, a system for electronic visa application and processing platform with a focus on biometric data processing. Implemented REST-based microservice architecture using various technologies.

01/01/2010 – 31/10/2014 Web Developer (PHP / Java): Responsible for web portal maintenance and development in PHP, as well as web services for mobile applications in Java.

01/09/2007 – 31/12/2010 Service Technician: Provided maintenance and programming for PBX systems and electronic security. Also worked as an intranet programmer and admin, and developed software for special devices.
