Android Developer

The candidate is an Android developer, with almost 5 years of commercial experience, 3,5 of which in Kotlin. He is currently working in a team of 10 on a trucking project, where he deals with truckers e.g. costs, tunnels, restrictions. They are rewriting an old app where they get things in legacy code. In addition to that he also writes Unit tests. Before that he worked on developing a user identity verification library for a health insurance company for a client in Germany. Some of his most used technologies are - Android, Java, Kotlin, Coroutines, Jetpack compose, Architecture Components, MVVM, Unix, Linux, CI/CD. He also works on his own smaller projects, where he is responsible for an entire Android app, for example. With a friend he developed an iOS app where they tried Kotlin for multiplatform development. He has actively used agile methodologies in his work, especially Scrum. He can communicate in English without any problems. He would like to work on a project where he could also do app design.

Worked on 5 Android projects involving Kotlin, Jira, Unity, GIT, Google maps, navigation, offline databases, Retrofit, Picasso, notifications - Firebase, CI/CD.
