PHP Developer

The candidate has been working as a PHP Developer for more than 7 years. Currently he mainly uses Laravel framework and also Inertia or Tailwind tools. In addition to the backend, which he was responsible for in his last position, he also worked in Vue (Javascript) on the frontend. He was part of an international team and one of his main tasks was to create a GraphQL API that was to be used by both the frontend and mobile part of the application, as well as preparing the database structure and communicating with his colleague who was in charge of the frontend. During his internship he encountered agile methodologies, e.g. in the form of several week sprints. He speaks English at B2 level both orally and in writing.

11/2017 - 01/2023: Backend Web Developer in a three-member international team focused on creating the world's largest food platform. Responsible for backend development, including creating a unified GraphQL API for both the frontend and mobile application. Technologies used: PHP Laravel, Javascript Vue.js, MySQL, GraphQL, Algolia, Stripe, AWS.

11/2020 - 05/2021: Backend Web Developer in a team creating a REST API for the new information system of the Czech Football Association. Main responsibilities included developing modules for request management and payment gateway. Technologies used: PHP Laravel, MySQL, REST API, PayU, AWS.

07/2015 - 10/2017: Software Developer in a five-member team specializing in creating interactive data dashboards and exports for social media performance indicators. Technologies used: Nette, Node.js, CoffeeScript, RabbitMQ, jQuery, Highcharts, AWS.

08/2013 - 06/2015: Software Developer in an eight-member agile team creating an in-house affiliate program platform for large clients. Responsible for modules related to statistics, commission schemes, and partner commission calculation. Technologies used: Zend, Doctrine, Smarty, jQuery, Node.js, AWS.

03/2013 - 08/2013: Web Developer involved in website development, e-commerce, and SEO optimization. Technologies used: PHP, JavaScript, HTML, CSS.
