Java Architect & Java Developer

The candidate is an experienced Java developer who has more than 11 years of commercial experience with Java. He works mostly on the backend. On his last project he was working on toolkit integration in a customer environment, developing a custom beckend product. He was responsible for the architecture of the solution from the design phase to the final product. In terms of frameworks the main ones used were Spring and Spring boot. He worked mostly in the chemical and information industry where he gained deep knowledge of chemistry, labs and workflows of pharmaceutical companies. He also worked in a consulting company where he developed strong customer contact skills. He is also proficient in working with PostgreSQL, MySQL, MariaDB, Derby, and Oracle databases. He also uses Docker, Rest API, AWS, Kubernetes. He is used to working in an agile manner. He has been in charge of mentoring seniors who came to work for their company. For more than 9 years, he is used to working in an international environment and English language is not a problem for him.

• Worked on a 2-year project integrating JChem engines and Chemical Structure representation Toolkit into a custom on-prem solution for a big pharma company

• Developed a customized chemical search engine using Groovy on top of Instant Jchem for a big pharma company, with custom UI and search conditions
