Architect & C++ Developer & IT Security Consultant

The candidate is currently a Senior Staff FW Engineer with 9 years of commercial experience. He is responsible for leading the firmware architecture for a new security-controller platform based on ARM Cortex-M. This includes designing and writing specifications for secure lifecycle, approaches to solutions, bootstrapping, identifying risks, optimisation or test interfaces. He also conducts requirements analyses and creates firmware elements for contact-based and contact-less security controllers found eg. in smart cards. He works with communication tools such as ISO, SPI and he was also testing according to ISO/IEC 61508. As for object-oriented technologies he has been programming in C++ for 3 years. Also, he has an experience of 5 years in Java. Furthermore, he develops secure coding guidelines and oversee firmware configuration data management, including scripting and continuous integration. He is used to working in agile environment with Jira and Scrum. Apart from that, he is also responsible for supervising a PhD candidate in cloud computing security. He is native in German language and fluent in English.
