DevOps Engineer

The candidate is a Devops Engineer with almost 3 years of commercial experience. He works with cloud technologies such as AWS and Azure and his work also involves tools such as Kubernetes, Docker, Terraform, Prometheus, Grafana or Gitlab, formerly Ansible. He also uses Golang, not for pure programming, but for writing micro-applications, for example. On the current project he is in charge of Kubernetes cluster management, monitoring, deploying, upgrading, maintaining CI/CD pipelines - the whole lifecycle. He works in a sort of modified Kanban - he uses Jira, they have sprints, they try to set and achieve goals quarterly, they have upcoming tasks that they rate and develop according to importance. On a previous project, he was planning the taskas, handing them out and coaching colleagues in them. He has no problem speaking English - his English is roughly B2 level - he is also not averse to working in an international environment.

Jan 2022 – Present: DevOps Engineer - Manages cloud services using Terraform, configures monitoring and logging stacks, manages Kubernetes clusters, deploys using Terraform and Helm, builds CI/CD pipelines, and configures Gatekeeper and Chaos Mesh.

Jul 2020 – Dec 2021: DevOps Engineer - Manages cloud services using Terraform and Ansible, configures monitoring and logging stacks, manages Kubernetes cluster in cloud, deploys using kustomize scripts, and builds CI/CD pipelines.

Dec 2019 – Jun 2020: DevOps Support and Incident Management - Monitors customer DevOps solutions, troubleshoots cloud infrastructure, configures CI/CD processes, writes kustomize scripts for microservice deployment, manages cloud services using Terraform, and provides 24/7 on-call service and customer SLA management.
