DevOps Engineer & Team Leader

The candidate is a DevOps engineer with over 3 years of experience and Linux administrator with over 9 years of experience. Since he was already working with Docker on previous position, it is hard for him to sum up the years of experience. He is currently working with Docker and Kubernetes for deployment. In his previous position, he had an experience with bare metal as he was working on a platform streaming videos, doing optimization and configuration of the core. He has an experience with public cloud Azure. He had short experience in AWS, however their company was only starting with containerization at that time. He has also worked with Ansible, Puppet, Elasticsearch and using Python and Bash for scripting. He knows how routing and TCP/IP works. He has an idea about agile methodologies, however has not yet had a chance to work with them in DevOps area.

Linux Administrator L2: Managed and maintained a complex platform running on Debian Linux, involving various technologies such as PostgreSQL, Elasticsearch, Redis, RabbitMQ, Cassandra, corosync, pacemaker, and more. (September 2017 - April 2021)

Linux Administrator: Handled administration tasks for centrum.cz, aktualne.cz, ihned.cz, respekt.cz, and other websites. (April 2015 - August 2017)

Linux Developer: Implemented new features into existing telecomunication systems based on proprietary OS using Linux. (July 2012 - March 2015)

IT Administrator and Web Support: Managed IT tasks and provided web support for the organization. (January 2011 - June 2012)

System Administrator: Administered the Dalet editorial system and supporting systems for the television station. (January 2010 - January 2011)
