Java Architect & Java Developer & Lead Engineer & Team Leader

The candidate currently holds two roles as of Software and Solution Architects Team Lead. As for development, he is working in an Austrian computing agency (owned by government) as a lead developer where he mostly does enterprise architecture. In current project, they started with monolith architecture that are trying to slice up and go to micro-services. Due to political struggles in the structures, it has only been partially done. He sees that that majority of companies have different micro-services that are on one database and scaling part is not really possible but if you compute everything on micro-service there is not need to tie micro-services in one database and you can scale them. Furthermore, he is a proponent of messaging and not rest communication. He has also gained an experience with JS, but Java has been his main focus for 5 years. As for DevOps, he was resposible for whole testing environment, suggesting changes on pipelines and doing continuous integration and deployment. He was working with Jenkins, Kubernetes, Docker, Bamboo or Openshift. Their services are host in on-premise cloud. His main responsibility is also hiring and mentoring of 6 people. He speaks fluent English and German.
