DevOps Engineer

The candidate is a DevOps engineer with over 3 year of experience. However, he has been working in the IT for over 20 years. He is currently working on a project, where they are producing internal SW. He is responsible for technical pre-sales activities, discussing how the product should be deployed by customers. Afterwards he is responsible for deployment, installation and L2/L3 support. He is also often creating infrastructure for clients. He is mostly working with AWS and GCP but also has some experience in Azure. He has strong skills in Linux Administration, Jenkins, and Kubernetes stack (GKE/EKS/On-prem) on production environments. He is also experienced in writing Helm charts and Terraform code, and has a strong background in troubleshooting microservice applications. He is able to script in Bash, Go or Python. He has also experience in hardware and networks, including HPE servers/blade systems, managed WiFi, DNS, and VPNs. He was previously also working as a team lead and PM. He speaks English and Russian is his mother tongue.

Build Engineer : August 2020 - April 2023

Responsibilities:

• Interacting with the customer, taking manager function while the manager is absent.
• Planning and creating infrastructure for the umbrella program for Delivery Central Ecosystem (DCE) combining PERF, Health.
• Writing and customizing Helm chart, deploying, configuring, upgrading, and troubleshooting applications.
• Delivering the application to customers and working with a team of seven members, including two DevOps engineers.
