Java Developer & Kotlin Developer

Developer who has been working with Java for several years. He is currently working on a banking project that, based on an EU regulation, allows customers to authorize payment and transfer from account to account without a card provider. He joined the project when it was underway, so he is deploying new functionality and rewriting the latest application from Java to Kotlin. On the next project he is developing purely in Kotlin. He originally worked in Oracle DB, now he is using more Postgre databases, deploying via Openshift, Jenkins pipelines or GitHub. He's been doing Java in MyBatis, Maven, and has also used Hibernate on home projects. He enjoys developing in BE, but since he wanted to broaden his horizons, he also got some minor experience with Angular. He is working in Scrum, he also completed a 3-day training and got a developer certificate in Scrum. He also uses English on a daily basis in a family environment. He actively used German for about half a year a few years back, back then he was able to communicate fluently, now he maintains his understanding by listening to podcasts and occasionally communicating abroad, but he believes that in a few weeks he would be able to get back to the level he was at before.

• Responsible for application development at banking sector, focusing on BE development for various applications.
• Key contributor to the Payment from the Account application, enhancing PSD2-based payments and leading a migration from Java to Kotlin.
