Architect & BI Analyst

He has worked in banking since 1997, initially as a financial, IT or Business Integration analyst, and for the last 5 years as a Solution Architect. Finance is his hobby and he has a Master's degree in this field. He has an understanding of accounting, financial mathematics and a broader understanding of banking. The last BI analyst position involved working on a data warehouse, data integration for a new financial reporting base for the bank, payment system. While doing so, he worked at Oracle. Current architectural position is again data focused - he was introduced to Teradata technology there. He evaluated requirements for the data warehouse, worked with solution screening documents and prepared jobs for extracts. Although he didn't create solution designs on a daily basis, he also got to design in Enterprise Architect and has an average understanding of working with UML diagrams. He worked here in an agile environment, using the Scrum methodology. Mostly worked independently, occasionally passing on knowledge to colleagues. He used English mostly for reading, searching for information, he would have to work on active communication. He enjoys working with data, searching for what is stored where, a kind of detective work, but he wants to avoid routine, to create new things rather than just maintain them.
