DevOps Engineer

Inžinier infraštruktúry s viac ako 15 rokmi skúseností v oblasti IT. V súčasnosti pracuje ako senior inžinier infraštruktúry v oblasti BI. Venuje sa najmä ML, AI a Big data. Podporuje infraštruktúru externých klientov v oblasti BI. Tá je väčšinou v cloude - Azure a GCP. Má tiež určité skúsenosti s AWS. Má certifikáciu pre Azure a Cloud. Pracuje s infraštruktúrou a platformou ako službou. Je zodpovedný aj za virtualizáciu, bezpečnosť, poskytovateľov identít, siete, Linux, nasadenie databáz. Ako IaC používa Terraform. Predtým pracoval aj s Ansible. Má skúsenosti s Tableau Server, Spark, Hadoop, Snowflake, DWH, BigQuery, Dataflow, Bash a Python pre skriptovanie. Na svojej poslednej pozícii pracoval ako linuxový inžinier, ktorý podporoval aj externých klientov. V minulosti nasadzoval niektoré služby v Dockeri. V súčasnosti sa učí Kubernetes a o 3 - 4 mesiace bude mať skúšku. Plynule hovorí anglicky a jeho materinským jazykom je ruština. Má aj základy nemčiny a rád by sa v nej zdokonalil a jeho čeština je na úrovni A2/B1.

Senior Infrastructure Engineer (BI) July 2021 - Present

• Advanced infrastructure support of Enterprise BI Data Platforms: Hybrid Cloud, Datalakes, Datawarehouses, visualization and BI analytics tools.
• Support, deploy & troubleshooting of analytical and reporting platforms: Alteryx Server, Tableau Server, Databricks, Kafka, SnowFlake, Immuta, Matillion, etc.
• Monitoring of the application infrastructure, preemptive maintenance, performance review, and improvement.
• Analysis and resolution of Prod infrastructure issues, cooperation with the development, testing, and support teams.
• Configuration and administration of new analytical solutions, including installation, upgrades, license and user management, etc.

Linux Engineer February 2021 - July 2021 (6 months)

• Providing expertise & technical support for SUSE Linux Enterprise Server, SUSE Linux High Availability Extension, SUSE Manager, SUSE Enterprise Storage, Container/Docker, and many more other products for customers all over the world.
• Collaborating with the Developers team, collecting kernel & software bugs.

Information Technology Infrastructure Engineer December 2018 - February 2021 (2 years 3 months)

• Full support for all IT infrastructure in 2 Prague offices (more than 250 users) + other EMEA offices remote IT infrastructure support.
• Online monitoring and inventory of the entire infrastructure.
