Skúsený odborník na infraštruktúru s približne 10-ročnou praxou v globálnom automobilovom priemysle. V súčasnosti sa špecializuje na VMware, Windows Server a správu skladov. Spolu so svojimi kolegami je zodpovedný za podporu miestnych IT a zavádzanie globálnych projektov v regióne Európy a Afriky. Pomáha najmä so servermi Windows a VMware, ale venuje sa aj podpore sietí (najmä Cisco), WAN a Linuxu. S Linuxom pracuje aj v rámci vlastných projektov. Má tiež jeden zo serverov v cloude spoločnosti Oracle. Predtým sa staral o migráciu dátových centier z USA a Amsterdamu do Prahy. Rád by viac pracoval s cloudovými technológiami. Pokiaľ ide o Cloud, v predchádzajúcej spoločnosti migrovali veci do Azure a pred pol rokom robil skúšobnú prevádzku v hybridnej infraštruktúre Azure a on-premise. Komunikácia v angličtine mu nerobí problém.

Infrastructure Specialist - IT Operations EMEA (10/2018 – present)

• Outline As a member of an international L2 team, provided IT infrastructure support to local IT members in EMEA region with 130 sites and 30,000 users. Conducted rollouts of new global projects and provided guidelines and training to local IT members. Managed AD and vSphere infrastructure + storages and related networks, centralized and consolidated projects, reporting & KPIs, continuous improvement and upgrades, transformed to cloud, supported plant acquisitions and spinoffs.
• Main Tech: VMware vSphere (ESXi+vCenter, esxcli, PowerCLI), Windows Server (AD, DNS, GPO, DHCP, PowerShell), Cisco (command line), IVANTI software packaging tool, Carbonite (disaster and recovery tool).
• Interesting projects & success: Successfully led the global IT infra consolidation and upgrades under central vCenter, supported SAP global upgrade, managed IT infra handover from application teams to local IT members, including required documentation and online training for up to 150 users.

Senior Corporate Windows and Messaging Administrator (11/2013 – 9/2018)

• Outline: As a member of a central IT team, was responsible for central IT infrastructure - mainly AD, VMware, Exchange, and MDM for about 40 production and R&D sites with 5,000 users.
• Main Tech: VMware vSphere (ESXi, esxcli, PowerCLI), Windows Server (AD, DNS, GPO, PowerShell), Exchange (PowerShell), Barracuda systems (Spam Filter, Message Archiver, Backup), MobileIron (MDM).
• Interesting projects & success: Successfully centralized IT infra, standardized network, implemented video conferencing for 2,000 users, provided physical and remote support of datacenter migration.

• IT Certifications: VMware Certified Professional 6.5 – Data Center Virtualization, MCSA: Windows Server 2012, MikroTik Certified Network Associate.
