DevOps Engineer

Kandidát je DevOps inžinier s viac ako 3 rokmi skúseností. V IT však pracuje už viac ako 20 rokov. V súčasnosti pracuje na projekte, kde sa vyrába interný SW. Je zodpovedný za technické predpredajné aktivity, diskutuje o tom, ako by mal byť produkt nasadený zákazníkmi. Následne je zodpovedný za nasadenie, inštaláciu a podporu L2/L3. Často tiež vytvára infraštruktúru pre klientov. Väčšinou pracuje s AWS a GCP, ale má skúsenosti aj s Azure. Má silné zručnosti v oblasti administrácie Linuxu, Jenkins a Kubernetes stacku (GKE/EKS/On-prem) v produkčných prostrediach. Má tiež skúsenosti s písaním Helm diagramov a Terraform kódu a má silné zázemie v riešení problémov mikroslužobných aplikácií. Je schopný skriptovať v jazykoch Bash, Go alebo Python. Má tiež skúsenosti s hardvérom a sieťami vrátane serverov HPE/blade systémov, spravovanej WiFi, DNS a VPN. V minulosti pracoval aj ako vedúci tímu a PM. Hovorí anglicky a jeho materinským jazykom je ruština.

Build Engineer : August 2020 - April 2023

Responsibilities:

• Interacting with the customer, taking manager function while the manager is absent.
• Planning and creating infrastructure for the umbrella program for Delivery Central Ecosystem (DCE) combining PERF, Health.
• Writing and customizing Helm chart, deploying, configuring, upgrading, and troubleshooting applications.
• Delivering the application to customers and working with a team of seven members, including two DevOps engineers.
• Utilizing technologies such as AWS RDS/Google SQL/Postgre SQL, Elastic (as a part of EFK stack), Helm/Helmfile, Terraform, Jenkins, Git/Gerrit, Debug tools (kubectl, nmap, tcpdump, psql, etc), and Kubernetes (GKE, EKS, AKS, On-prem).

Information Technology Team Lead : January 2014 - August 2020

Responsibilities:

• Leading a team of 5 IT specialists consisting of system engineers and a network engineer, while also being a PM and system engineer.
• Developing IT infrastructure for customers, building Linux and Windows server environments, and managing hardware, including NAS and HPE blade systems.
• Implementing Zimbra collaboration solutions, docker-compose for containers management, terraform for creating and managing cloud infrastructure, apache+nginx+php-fpm for E-commerce solutions, and bare-metal infrastructure and Bareos.
• Supporting customer IT infrastructure and utilizing technologies such as MS-SQL, MySQL, and VMware virtualization (ESXi).
