Automation Tester

Kandidát je automatizovaný tester s viac ako 10-ročnou komerčnou praxou. V súčasnosti pracuje na webových stránkach určených na tvorbu poistných udalostí a na marketing poisťovní. Rozširuje tiež existujúci framework pre automatizáciu testov, ktorý bol vyvinutý pre "hlbšie" komponenty obchodného jadra, hlavne pre nastavenie testovacích dát. Taktiež udržiava a píše výkonnostné testy. Hlavné nástroje, ktoré používa, sú Java, Spring, Springboot, Selenium, Cucumber, Jenkins, Maven, Groovy, SoapUI, Kafka, Oracle, TestNG, Allure, Selenide, Gradle, platforma Microsoft Azure a SQL Server, Jira, Gitlab. Je zvyknutý pracovať v agilnom prostredí. Na svojej súčasnej pozícii zastáva úlohu Team Lead, kde vedie tím 3 ľudí. Anglický jazyk mu nerobí problém, keďže pracuje v medzinárodnom tíme.

April 2021 – present: IT Specialist/Developer

• Responsibilities: Developing/designing a testing framework for 3 web pages related to marketing insurances and insurance incidents.
• Extending the existing test automation framework for business core components, mainly for test data setup.
• Using Java, Spring, TestNG, Allure, Selenide, Gradle, Microsoft Azure platform, and SQL Server.
• Working in a Hybrid Agile/Kanban environment with 2-week sprints and no granular release mechanism.
• Working as a contractor.

Jan. 2020 – March 2021: QA Automation Engineer III

• Responsibilities: Creating and automating test cases for Loyalty services components.
• Testing a complex chain of components responsible for issuing and redeeming loyalty rewards for customers.
• Using Oracle, Java, Maven, Jenkins, Gitlab, Jira, and Cucumber.
• Working in a Kanban environment with developers based in the USA.

Nov. 2014 – Dec. 2019: QA Engineer

• Responsibilities: Creating and automating test cases for the "stream processing of financial operations" product.
• Testing the unification of transaction formats from multiple sources and updating datasources for post-processing tasks.
• Using Kafka, Spark Streaming, Cassandra, Hadoop, and Oracle.
• Developing mocks for integration tests, pushing datasets from Oracle DB into Cassandra and Kafka.
• Bug analysis and documentation writing.

Nov. 2014 – April 2018 - QA Engineer

• Responsibilities: Creating and automating test cases for Java web services used in the financial sector.
• Testing components for processing transaction requests, answering customer payment requests, and storing transaction details.
• Using Java Spring Boot, Selenium, RestAssured, Cucumber, Jenkins, Maven, Mercurial SCM, SoapUI, Groovy.
• Creating test cases for Android applications and providing customer support.
