Er konzentriert sich auf Java und Kotlin, bildet sich aber auch in anderen Sprachen wie ReactJS, Typescript, Hibernate weiter. Er hat 6 Jahre Erfahrung mit Java und 5 Jahre mit Kotlin. Er arbeitet als Freiberufler und in seinem letzten Job war er für die Erstellung eines Microservices mit Spring Boot verantwortlich, der auf Events von der Revolut Business API hört. Er ist auch offen für neuere Frameworks wie Ktor. Er hat Erfahrung mit agilen Methoden wie Scrum und würde es vorziehen, weiterhin mit agilen Methoden zu arbeiten. Sein Englisch ist auf einem guten Niveau, er versteht Texte und kann sich auch verständigen (wenn er ein Gespräch führen muss). Er ist jedoch engagiert und würde auch englischsprachige Teams bevorzugen.

• were tasked to create backend service for ordering, grouping and managing shipments from big containers to small packages.
• integrated clients to various other services and all data were stored to (loaded from) SalesForce database.
• highlights: Because salesforce objects were always changing, I created code generator from json object to kotlin code. Client Api took too long to process our orders, so I used coroutines to process them in parallel which cut the processing time from minutes to just a few seconds with proper error handling - if any request fails we need to revert the other orders.

• Task done in 11 days, but I think it's worth mentioning? The goal of the task was to create a microservice using Spring boot which will listen to the events from Revolut Business API via webhook, deploy to AWS, store state to DynamoDB.

• Kotlin Spring boot microservices, I love this! It was still in it's early stage, but already over a year in development and we managed to finish it and sell to the customers. We are building connectors to all telco services (T-mobile, O2, MVNO, CrossApi,...), from ordering a product/service, managing technician workflow, building processes with Camunda, sending notifications, letters, all you can imagine.

• My fist task was to develop java library to help other developers to integrate blockchain technology to their projects. I wrote that in Kotlin, used KEthereum, learned everything about blockchain I could in timeframe of 1.5 months. Test coverage was higher then the main company's product.
• The other task was to develop backend service for Crypto Wallet app and CRM app. I started this project, but later other JS team members would be joining me, so I had to use JS framework instead of JVM. It was NestJs + TypeORM.

• Finally I found the company designed for freelancing. 100% home office, no special bonuses.
• They find suitable project for developer and give him good money for work. Of course, my work consists of Spring boot, Hibernate, Java 8 (at least). And not just that. When there was a need to create a new backend service, they let me do it in Kotlin and it proved to be a good decision.

• I've spent here only few months, but I see this as a good opportunity to mention what I am NOT looking for. I want to use IDE of my choice (Intellij Idea Ultimate), to use operating system of my choice and sometimes to work remotely. Not all the time, I actually like being in the office with others, but I want to have this option.
