PHP Developer

Der Kandidat ist seit mehr als 17 Jahren als Softwareentwickler tätig und hat in dieser Zeit 3 Jahre lang PHP, Python und Perl und 4 Jahre lang C/C++ verwendet. In der Vergangenheit hat er agile Methoden verwendet, hauptsächlich Scrum. Er versteht die englische Sprache, fühlt sich aber nicht wohl beim Kommunizieren. Während seiner Erfahrung war er Teamleiter kleinerer Teams, bevorzugt aber die Rolle des Entwicklers.

2015 – present: Software Developer
Developing a graphical application for inputting and displaying outputs of the Flow123 program, which simulates flow and transport of dissolved substances in a fractured porous medium. Working with Python and PyQt, collaborating on program design, overseeing the work of a colleague, and programming.

2008 – 2015: Software Engineer
Developing tariffication software and other smaller programs focused on VoIP. Used languages such as PHP, Perl, C#, C++, and partially JavaScript, Java, Bash, and Batch. Worked with SQL databases PostgreSQL and MSSQL, gained partial knowledge of VoIP environments (Cisco, Avaya).

2002 – 2008: Software Developer
Developing software for devices produced by KMB Systems through remote communication (RS232, Ethernet, modem, etc.). Developed programs using MS Visual Studio 2005 in C++ and MFC libraries. Used Win32 API functions when MFC classes were insufficient.

Personal Skills:
Proficient in Czech, intermediate level in English. Good communication skills in reading English texts and vocabulary, but struggles with spoken English. Strong knowledge in Perl and Python, previous experience with C/C++. Familiar with various web technologies such as PHP, HTML, JavaScript, Ajax, CSS, web services, Apache, IIS, XML, and J2EE. Familiar with Bash and Batch scripting, experienced in Visual Studio and C#. Worked with version control systems Subversion, TFS, and Git. Experienced in developing both web and GUI applications, with a preference for backend and data-focused work. Skilled in program design and capable of leading smaller software teams. Experience with multithreaded and real-time programs, as well as maintaining and expanding older programs. Able to quickly learn and adapt to new programming languages, with a preference for low-level programming in C/C++. Proficient in both Windows and Linux operating systems, with recent focus on Linux. Willing to learn Unix and Objective C.
