Merger & Acquisition Consultant

Der Kandidat ist ein erfahrener Finanzcontroller und M&A-Berater, der seit mehr als 10 Jahren in diesen Funktionen in der kaufmännischen Praxis tätig ist. Er war sowohl an Projekten auf der Verkaufs- als auch auf der Kaufseite beteiligt, sei es beim direkten Verkauf von Unternehmen oder bei allen damit verbundenen Fragen. Er hat auch Unternehmensvalidierung und Finanzmodellierung durchgeführt (bei der Veräußerung von Kernkraftwerken in der Slowakei hat er sowohl die Berechnung als auch die Umsetzung vorgenommen). Die Kommunikation in englischer und deutscher Sprache ist für ihn kein Problem. Er verfügt über mehr als 10 Jahre Erfahrung in der Arbeit für ein Mitglied der "Big Four" - Deloitte.

1. Head of Controlling (Jan 2022 - Present):

• Responsible for financial controlling of 12 entities within a producer and distributor of beverages in Central Europe.
• Monthly reporting and implementation of a new reporting structure across the group.
• Revised product calculations and pricing methodology.
• Led a team of 5 employees.

2. Head of Controlling (May 2017 - Dec 2021):

• Responsible for financial controlling of 10 entities of a French multinational in Slovakia.
• Implemented SAP S/4HANA controlling and project system modules.
• Prepared annual budgets for the group and reported IFRS consolidated results to headquarters in France.
• Assessed ROI for new projects and managed cash flow and receivables.
• In charge of internal controls and led a team of 3 employees.

3. CFO (Oct 2015 - Apr 2017):

• Managed financials of 8 group companies operating in Europe and the Americas.
• Implemented accounting and controlling structures, business plans, and KPI structures.
• Led management reporting, budgeting, cost control, and product/project calculations.
• Implemented credit risk and debt collection procedures, stock management, and order-to-cash/pay processes.
• Led a finance team of 3 employees.

4. Corporate Finance Advisory (Mar 2015 - Sep 2015):

• Developed a sell-side mandate for a Slovak ICT integrator and assisted a European food processing company in a greenfield project in Slovakia.

5. Interim CFO (Oct 2013 - Jul 2014):

• Implemented financial management and control processes for an industrial laundry washing business.
• Prepared business plan, implemented P&L and KPI reporting.
• Managed cash flow, trade receivables/payables, and product costing.
• Developed ROI evaluation tool and managed a finance team of 6 people.

6. Holding CFO (Apr 2011 - Jul 2012):

• Held CFO position in a meat processing business covering 3 countries and 6 plants.
• Supported management in supply chain and go-to-market strategy transformation.
• Provided consolidated reports and forecasts to top management and shareholders.
• Implemented budgeting process, inventory management, and S&OP system.
• Prepared business case models and project analyses.
