Der Kandidat ist ein Engineering Manager mit Erfahrung im gesamten Zyklus der Softwareentwicklung, vom Management und der Leitung von Teams für mobile Anwendungen über das Schreiben technischer Spezifikationen und die Entwicklung von Software bis hin zur Bereitstellung und Unterstützung von Endbenutzern. Derzeit hat er keine Vollzeitstelle, da seine letzte im letzten Jahr endete, so dass er derzeit einige kleinere freiberufliche Projekte durchführt, um auch mit den neuesten Technologien in Kontakt zu bleiben. Er hat Erfahrung mit der Leitung eines Scrum-Teams mit 5-7 Mitgliedern, das eine Wett-App für ein deutsches Unternehmen entwickelt. Er ist in der Lage, sowohl mit größeren als auch mit kleineren Teams zu arbeiten, wobei er kleinere Teams bevorzugt. Sein Skillset umfasst Agile und Scrum, Android Entwicklung, Java, Kotlin, SQL, Python, Git, Firebase und Management. Kommunikation auf Englisch ist für ihn kein Problem. Er lebt in Zagreb und bevorzugt so viel Remote wie möglich, obwohl er offen ist, auch in einem Büro zu arbeiten. Er bevorzugt auch Flexibilität in seinem Zeitplan.

Engineering Manager, Mobile (2018-2021)
Led a team of ten mobile Android and iOS developers, mentoring and coaching them to improve their skills and passion for their work. Helped teams adapt Scrum methodologies and coordinated with the backend team to ensure successful development. Ensured code quality, adherence to coding standards, and high code coverage through peer reviews. Successfully translated feature requests into actionable plans.

Senior Software Developer / Team Lead (2016-2018)
Worked on the development of a native Android betting app with real-time updates, online payments, user authentication, and push notifications. Also contributed to the development of a Java backend for mobile and web betting apps, introducing Git workflows and assisting the backend team. Released the app in multiple countries with client-specific graphics.

Co-Founder (On Hold) (2017)
Co-founded a startup backed by Deutsche Telekom incubator hub:raum in Poland after winning a hackathon. Selected by Nokia for technical support among other startups from hub:raum.

Android and ECDL Examiner and Instructor (2014)
Lectured at Algebra University College on ECDL and Android/Java programs. Taught accountants, managers, and key workers, specializing in education for people with disabilities.

Lecturer (January 2010 - December 2016)
Lectured on computer literacy certification programs for people with disabilities, particularly blind or partially blind individuals. Volunteered for a non-profit organization to provide technical support for people with disabilities and worked on software accessibility.

C# Software Developer (2009-2011)
Assisted in recruiting and led a team of software engineers and interns. Developed and supported on-site software for conferences, utilizing C#, Windows Mobile, MS SQL, and RFID technologies.

Education
Master's degree in Computer Science from the Faculty of Science, Zagreb.

Hackathons
Participated in various hackathons, winning awards such as 2nd place in the "What the Hack 2016" hackathon and 1st place in the "Hack-It 2016" hackathon organized by Croatian Telecom. Also won 2nd place in the "Future of Employment 2017" hackathon organized by moj-posao.com.

Additional Experience and Awards
Lectured at Android conference Droidcon Zagreb 2015 on accessibility in Android development. Mentored young students in software engineering and participated in international conferences as a co-author of articles.
