Product Manager

Der Kandidat verfügt über 23 Jahre Berufserfahrung als sachkundiger und kompetenter Manager. Er befasst sich mit der Softwareverwaltung und -installation, wobei er auch aktiv an Tests beteiligt ist. Die meiste Erfahrung hat er im Bereich der Zahlungsterminals, wo er z.B. für den Übergang zu Chipkarten, einen eigenen Austausch oder ein neues Terminal verantwortlich war. Seine Teams bestehen meist aus 4-5 Entwicklern, aber er hat auch schon an einem Unternehmensprojekt gearbeitet, bei dem er für mehrere 5-6-köpfige Teams verantwortlich war. Er verfügt über sehr gute Kommunikationsfähigkeiten, dank derer er die Konsistenz zwischen der Arbeit des Entwicklers und den Vorstellungen des Kunden oder Benutzers sicherstellen kann. Er verfügt über gute Englischkenntnisse in Wort und Schrift und ist in der Lage, in einem ausländischen Team zu sprechen.

05/2019 - Current: Owner, self-employed, Electrician. Work at various locations, including building construction in Germany. Manage a small group of electricians and cooperate with site management office.

09/2017 - 10/2018: Project Manager at a startup company focused on software development, certification, and implementation of a new payment terminal for the Slovak market. Responsible for creating the development and certification environment, as well as the operative environment. Managed an international project involving Slovakia, Turkey, Hungary, and Italy, working closely with VISA and MasterCard organizations.

02/2017 - 06/2017: Project Manager at a company focused on IT services.

10/2015 - 10/2016: Prepared a project for the extension of a basic station for a mobile operator in Slovakia, but unfortunately, the project did not start. Also delivered some smaller projects.

Sales Manager / Project Manager at a company focused on software development. Managed an ongoing project for a queueing system for the Ministry of the Interior and delivered the initial part of a queueing system project for Slovak Post. Prepared proposals for banking technologies in Cash Management and managed the delivery of a significant order of Bank note counters.

05/2008 - 01/2015: Project Manager / Sales Representative at a company focused on IT infrastructure. Supported the Rimatrix 5 product group on an international level in Middle and Eastern Europe. Provided technical support for the preparation of complex Rimatrix5 solutions, actively sold products, prepared solution proposals, and provided customer support. Managed the construction of a video data center for TV Markíza and participated in the project management of the construction of a data center for SPP Slovakia. Also involved in the delivery of intensive cooling for Web portal Azet.sk and the design, selling, and implementation of a data center for Matej Bel University. Proposed, sold, and managed the Datahouse Bratislava project, which was certified by Uptime Institute on TIER III level.

11/2005 - 04/2008: Project Manager at a company focused on banking technologies. Implemented a project for the installation of EFT-POS, designed the communication infrastructure, negotiated with customers and subcontractors, performed economical calculations for feasibility, and checked inputs for invoicing.

03/2000 - 09/2005: Customer Services Manager / ATM, EFT POS at a company focused on banking technologies. Managed the service department, provided support for customers and external technicians for ATM and Point Of Sale Terminal, actively participated in software development for terminals and Terminal Management System, conducted SW testing, wrote manuals, and trained service technicians.

11/1995 - 12/1999: Customer Engineer / Project Manager at IBM. Managed big LAN installations for clients such as the US Embassy, SR prime minister office, a chemical plant in Novaky, and Nuclear power-station in Jaslovske Bohunice. Provided business support for cabling systems and participated in proposal teams. Prepared contracts.

01/1990 - 10/1995: Held various positions in Novitech Group, including Manager of the service department, Technical Support Specialist, and Technical Director. Worked with personal computers and managed projects.
