IT Manager & Program Manager

Der Kandidat ist ein IT-Manager mit mehr als 20 Jahren Erfahrung in der IT-Branche und 21 Jahren in führenden Positionen, wobei er in den letzten 10 Jahren sowohl Entwicklungsteams als auch ganze Organisationen geleitet hat. Er hat auch Erfahrung mit der Gründung und Leitung eines Büros von Grund auf. Er arbeitet seit etwa 10 Jahren mit agilen Methoden, nicht nur mit Scrum und Kanban, sondern hat in einer seiner früheren Positionen auch einen Safe eingeführt. Er verfügt über fundierte Programmierkenntnisse, hat sich aber entschieden, sich auf die Führungsebene zu konzentrieren, so dass nur Führungspositionen für ihn interessant sind. Er sucht eine Herausforderung im Projektmanagement, in der Leitung und in der Verbesserung von Organisationsprozessen. Er arbeitete und leitete Teams von 10 bis 3000 Mitgliedern, so dass er in der Lage ist, sowohl in kleinen als auch in größeren Teams zu arbeiten. Er befindet sich in Pula und ist bereit, das Büro in Kroatien gelegentlich zu besuchen, ein- oder zweimal im Monat. Er hat keine Probleme, sich auf Englisch zu verständigen. Er wünscht sich eine langfristige Zusammenarbeit für eine Festanstellung. Er hat derzeit eine Stelle, ist aber offen für etwas Neues. Seine Kündigungsfrist beträgt 1 Monat.

Aug 2020 - present: Technology Director

As the Technology Director, I oversee a team of 50+ individuals across 10 teams, including Development, SEO/Web Analytics, Web editing, QA, and IT support. My responsibilities include developing and organizing teams, managing team leads, hiring and onboarding new talent, and fostering individual and team development. I also handle performance management, technology road-mapping, process alignment, and continuous improvement. Additionally, I focus on nurturing team culture, driving innovation, and managing complex internal projects. Notable achievements include establishing the Web Editing department, reorganizing the development department, and introducing Atlassian JIRA and Test Rail for work and test management.

2011 - Aug 2020: Engineering Manager & Director of Legal Entity

During my time, I built the engineering organization from the ground up, overseeing 30 employees. I was responsible for recruiting and developing talent, providing a clear vision and goals, and managing performance in line with company objectives. I worked closely with the CTO, Product Managers, and Business Owners to shape the technical strategy, product roadmaps, and value streams. Additionally, I collaborated with international Engineering Managers to align on goals, standards, processes, and budgets. Key achievements include creating a high-performing engineering unit, fostering a positive work environment, and achieving Level 4 process maturity.
