Java Developer

Der Kandidat ist seit fast 10 Jahren als Java-Entwickler tätig. Er hat an verschiedenen Projekten im Bankensektor gearbeitet. Insbesondere war er für die Fertigstellung eines neuen Online-Banking-Systems verantwortlich, bei dem er eine Architektur unter Verwendung von REST API und die Migration des Servers in Kubernetes erstellte. Darüber hinaus war er an der Anpassung und dem gesamten Zyklus der FE-, BE- und Datenbankentwicklung beteiligt. Er hat Erfahrung mit Maven, Git, SQL oder Test-Frameworks wie z.B. JUnit, Mockito (TDD ist sein Lieblingsstil). Außerdem hatten die Kunden, für die er arbeitete, große Rechenzentren, so dass auch eine "selbst gehostete" Cloud genutzt wurde. Er ist deutscher Muttersprachler und spricht fließend Englisch, da er 4 Jahre lang in einem englischsprachigen Scrum gearbeitet hat. In der Vergangenheit war er für das Mentoring von Nachwuchsentwicklern zuständig.

03/2022 – ongoing: Senior Java Developer Responsible for a project involving the detachment and migration of existing services to Quarkus in a Kubernetes environment. Also a member of the architecture board of the department.

05/2018 – 02/2022: Java and PL/SQL full-stack developer Involved in customizing a business processing system, development and maintenance, performance optimization, and onboarding of junior developers. Also responsible for compliance with data protection regulations.

04/2014 – 04/2018: Java EE Full-Stack Developer Initially responsible for the redevelopment of an online banking solution. Later focused on the redevelopment of a core banking system, including optimization for execution speed. Successfully established direct SEPA and TARGET2 connections, reducing costs for the bank.

2010–2013: Diploma studies in Austrian Law Completed a 6-semester program in Austrian Law at Leopold Franzens University Innsbruck, receiving a Magister degree.

2003–2011: Master and Bachelor study Computer Science Completed a Master's and Bachelor's degree in Computer Science at Leopold Franzens University Innsbruck.

1998–2003: Higher Technical Education Institute Attended a technical college for Industrial Engineering and Management with a focus on Business Informatics in Innsbruck, Austria.
