C++ Developer

Der Kandidat ist ein erfahrener Entwickler, der seit über 9 Jahren in der kommerziellen Praxis in C++ programmiert. Die meiste Zeit seiner Laufbahn war er in einem Softwareunternehmen tätig, das Software für die Flugsicherung entwickelte, darunter GUI-Anwendungen und BE-Serveranwendungen. Die Hauptaufgabe der Datenarchivierung dort war ein kleiner Server, der ständig lief und Daten sendete, die in einem bestimmten Format gespeichert werden mussten. Ein weiteres Projekt war ein kleines System zur Auswertung der meteorologischen Situation in einer bestimmten Region, bei dem das Radarbild auf einem HW verarbeitet wurde und die Daten in einem bestimmten Format zur Verarbeitung gesendet wurden. Das letzte System war ein System zur Verarbeitung von Radardaten zur Übersicht über Flüge, Flugzeugtypen, Routen und Luftlage. Er diente auch als Product Owner und inoffizieller technischer Leiter. Er beherrscht die englische Sprache hervorragend und wendet sie täglich an. Bei seiner Arbeit hat er aktiv agile Methoden eingesetzt, insbesondere Scrum und Kanban.

04/2022 – 04/2023 C++ developer Developed an internal framework for integration testing scenarios of in-house software under Linux environment. Worked in a multinational scrum team. Utilized C++ 17, cmake, Google test, Gerrit/git, Jira, Linux, and Google Protocol buffers.

2014 – 04/2022 C++ developer Developed and maintained air traffic control and management software under Linux. Analyzed, designed, and documented new software modules. Refactored and optimized existing code base. Led a small team of 3 developers and 1 tester, managing requirements and task assignments. Conducted customer training in English, including international trips.

2006 – 2014 ICT section officer Managed LAN infrastructure, Windows and Linux servers, and wireless access points. Provided internal user support and remotely managed branch offices. Implemented communication infrastructure for new branch offices. Utilized Windows, Ubuntu, Active Domain management, and telecom/networking concepts.

2004 – 2006 Developer Worked on various data gathering projects for the Ministry of Education of Slovak Republic. Developed a larger project on financial management of school subjects. Utilized Delphi, PHP, Javascript, CSS, MySQL, and some C++.

Education: Graduated from Military Academy with a degree in Electronics and Telecommunication Technology.

Language skills: B2 level in English.

Driving skills: Hold a Slovak driving license for vehicles up to 3500 kg, with a driving experience of over 100,000 km.
