Erfahrener Infrastrukturspezialist mit rund 10 Jahren Erfahrung in der globalen Automobilindustrie. Derzeit spezialisiert auf VMware, Windows Server und Warehouse Management. Er und seine Kollegen sind für die Unterstützung der lokalen IT und die Einführung globaler Projekte in der Region Europa und Afrika verantwortlich. Er hilft hauptsächlich bei Windows-Servern und VMware, kümmert sich aber auch um Netzwerk-Support (hauptsächlich Cisco), WAN und Linux. Im Rahmen seiner eigenen Projekte arbeitet er auch mit Linux. Er hat auch einen der Server in der Oracle-Cloud. Davor hat er Migrationen von Rechenzentren aus den USA und Amsterdam nach Prag durchgeführt. Er würde gerne mehr mit Cloud-Technologien arbeiten. Was die Cloud betrifft, so wurde in einem früheren Unternehmen auf Azure migriert, und vor einem halben Jahr hat er einen Versuch mit einer hybriden Azure- und On-Premise-Infrastruktur durchgeführt. Die Kommunikation auf Englisch ist für ihn kein Problem.

• Outline As a member of an international L2 team, provided IT infrastructure support to local IT members in EMEA region with 130 sites and 30,000 users. Conducted rollouts of new global projects and provided guidelines and training to local IT members. Managed AD and vSphere infrastructure + storages and related networks, centralized and consolidated projects, reporting & KPIs, continuous improvement and upgrades, transformed to cloud, supported plant acquisitions and spinoffs.
• Main Tech: VMware vSphere (ESXi+vCenter, esxcli, PowerCLI), Windows Server (AD, DNS, GPO, DHCP, PowerShell), Cisco (command line), IVANTI software packaging tool, Carbonite (disaster and recovery tool).
• Interesting projects & success: Successfully led the global IT infra consolidation and upgrades under central vCenter, supported SAP global upgrade, managed IT infra handover from application teams to local IT members, including required documentation and online training for up to 150 users.

Senior Corporate Windows and Messaging Administrator (11/2013 – 9/2018)

• Outline: As a member of a central IT team, was responsible for central IT infrastructure - mainly AD, VMware, Exchange, and MDM for about 40 production and R&D sites with 5,000 users.
• Main Tech: VMware vSphere (ESXi, esxcli, PowerCLI), Windows Server (AD, DNS, GPO, PowerShell), Exchange (PowerShell), Barracuda systems (Spam Filter, Message Archiver, Backup), MobileIron (MDM).
• Interesting projects & success: Successfully centralized IT infra, standardized network, implemented video conferencing for 2,000 users, provided physical and remote support of datacenter migration.
