Azure Engineer & DevOps Engineer

Ein erfahrener Infrastrukturingenieur mit über 10 Jahren Erfahrung in dieser Position und über 20 Jahren in der IT-Branche. Er leitet derzeit ein kleineres Team von 5 Mitgliedern auf der ganzen Welt. Er ist für die automatische Bereitstellung von Ressourcen in der Azure Cloud verantwortlich. Er arbeitet mit Ansible, Terraform, Powershell und Jenkins. Ihr Ziel ist es, alles zu automatisieren, so genannte Ein-Klick-Bereitstellung. Er ist auch für die Migration von On-Premise in die Cloud, die Bereitstellung und Wartung von Kubernetes-Clustern verantwortlich, da viele Anwendungen auf Docker-Containern laufen. Er kennt sich mit AWS aus, besitzt aber keine Zertifizierung und ist Teil des virtuellen Teams, das für den Schutz des Unternehmens vor virtuellen Angriffen zuständig ist. Er hat Erfahrung mit VMware, Hyper-V, Windows/Linux, Netzwerken und Lastausgleich. Er spricht fließend Englisch und Russisch ist seine Muttersprache.

Associate Director Azure Cloud Engineering (Jan 2020 – Present)

• Responsible for designing and implementing DevOps pipelines, Configuration Management, and automation frameworks in a Cloud environment.
• Working on Engineering Cloud platform capabilities and implementing agile practices for development and testing.
• Technical scope covers Azure DevOps, Jenkins, Ansible, PowerShell, Bash, Windows & Linux, Containerization, Docker, IP networking, and security.
• Responsible for DNS, VPNs, load balancing, and managing physical and virtual servers in a Cloud environment.
• Collaborating with teams to successfully deliver agreed-upon solutions of the highest quality.

Windows System Engineer (Aug 2014 – Jan 2020)

• Point of contact for Microsoft Windows Systems infrastructure and Release management.
• Responsible for physical and virtual Windows Server Infrastructure and engineering support for creating new servers.
• Worked on Release boards and selected releases for deployment.
• Technical scope covers Microsoft Windows Server 2003/2008/2012/2016, networking, security, storage, and virtualization (VMware ESX/Windows Hyper-V).

Sr. Server Administrator (Feb 2012 – Aug 2014)

• Worked on Windows and Solaris Servers builds, both physical and virtual.
• Responsible for SCCM deployments engineering, Active Directory Administration, and large McAfee ePO server administration (2000 servers).
• Configured and maintained Windows cluster servers and SQL servers.
• Technical scope covers Storage technologies NAS/SAN, Veritas Storage foundation administration, and troubleshooting root cause analysis.
• Worked on Change and Problem Management and provided support for existing over 2000 Wintel Servers.

3rd Level Wintel Support (Nov 2006 – Feb 2012)

• Proposing technical solutions for Data Center and P2V and V2V server migration.
• Provided support for 2nd level team (last level escalation point) and collaborated with SDMs, DPEs, Architects, customers, and other cooperating teams.
• Technical scope covers L2 Wintel duties such as solving both "BAU" and complex problem tickets and creating change tickets in accordance with Change Management policy.

IT Systems Department (Sep 1998 – Nov 2006)

• Troubleshooting PC’s, laptops, and mobile devices, providing 1st/2nd line support to users, and administering the company department’s policies and procedures.
• Installed and supported telecommunication equipment, maintained a log of all problems detected, and responsible for system backups.
• Worked closely with software suppliers to resolve operational issues and responsible for supporting Windows NT/2000/Office 2000/ Windows Server, Active Directory management.
• Successfully completed UNIX® Essentials Featuring the SolarisTM 9 Operating Environment and Intermediate System Administration for the SolarisTM 9 Operating Environment from Academy IT, Sun Microsystems, Moscow RU.
